    Memorial Day Decoration Schedule 2026
    Memorial Day decoration schedule will be observed from Friday, May 15th, 2026 to Wednesday, May 27th, 2026. Decorations will be permitted between these dates. They are requested to be removed before Thursday, May 28th, 2026. This is when all wilted flowers and decorations will be removed for weekly maintenance.

    Memorial Day - Volunteer's Welcomed
    We will be hosting our yearly event, The Avenue of Flags, here at Memory Garden Memorial Park & Mortuary to honor our veterans. Visitor's are welcome to come down to view the flags during and after their placement. Volunteer Information As this is a large scale endeavor. We are requesting help from our community to assist the mortuary and cemetery staff in putting large American flags around our cemetery on Monday. Along with the placement of smaller flags and crosses upon the graves of Veteran's on Saturday. Volunteer's are welcome to arrive at this designated time for the placement of small crosses and flags. Sign up's requested; not required. Saturday, May 23rd, 2026. We ask volunteer's to arrive by 7:45 AM - 8:00 AM. Placement of small flags and crosses upon veteran graves. Volunteer's are welcome to arrive at two separates times to put up and take down large flags. Sign up's requested; not required. For our morningtime, we ask volunteer's to arrive by 7:45 AM - 8:00 AM on Monday, May 25th, 2026. This is to assist with placing of the large American flags. For our afternoon time, we ask volunteer's to arrive by 2:30 PM - 3:00 PM on Monday, May 25th, 2026. This is to assist with taking down and folding the large American flags before the sun sets.
