Thelma Marie Reynolds

May 22, 1932 - February 23, 2022

Thelma Marie Reynolds, 89, a resident of La Habra, went to be with our Lord on February 23, 2022. She passed away peacefully with her family by her side following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer’s disease. Thelma was a loving mother, grandmother, and friend. She had a great sense of humor and enjoyed life to the fullest. She was born in Illinois and grew up surrounded by a large extended family of aunts, uncles, and cousins. She married Lavelle Reynolds on June 11, 1950. They moved to Brea, California in 1966 and raised their 3 children there. Thelma had a successful career in real estate for 40+ years. She had a true passion for helping others in her community. She was a kind soul and friend to all she met. She loved her family and friends more than anything. Thelma stayed active in her retired years. Together with her longtime companion, Bob Mah, she enjoyed camping, road trips, biking and hanging out at Starbucks. Thelma loved bird watching, attending Angel games and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband, Lavelle Reynolds and daughter, Vicki Reynolds. Thelma is survived by her son, Bill Reynolds and his wife Denise, son John Reynolds and his wife Darlene. She was blessed with 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. The family would like to thank Rox & Frances Barrett for the love and exceptional care of Thelma in her final 14 months. And to Bob Mah, they extend their heartfelt gratitude for loving and caring for Thelma until her last days.
