Paula L. Garcia 95, beloved mother and grandmother passed away peacefully May 19, 2014 in the city of La Habra, CA surrounded by family. Paula was born in Veracruz, Mexico on January 26, 1919. She was the fifth child of Victor and Maria Lozano. Paula immigrated to the United States in 1947 where she met and married Santos Garcia-her beloved husband of 60 years. Paula and Santos settled in La Habra in 1958 where they raised their children. She worked as a seamstress, retiring after 42 years. Paula’s biggest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her devotion to her family. She found great comfort and pleasure in reading her Bible every day. Paula is survived by her six children, twelve grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Santos Garcia. Mom, Grandma, Great-Grandma, we love you dearly. You will live in our hearts forever. Viewing will be at Memory Garden Memorial Park & Mortuary in Brea, CA on Saturday May 31, 2014 from 8:00-11:30 am. Funeral services follow at 12:00 pm at the Memory Garden Williamsburg Chapel.
