    Francis Joseph MacMillan

    January 27, 1957 - February 20, 2021

Frank passed into the arms of Our Lord at home due to cancer. He was born in Whittier, where he lived most of his life. Frank and April were married on 5/17/2000. They loved being active members for 17 years at the First Love Calvary Chapel, Whittier and then at Calvary Chapel, Santa Fe Springs. Frank worked for the USPS for more than 20 years as a mail carrier, in the La Puente area. He enjoyed gardening, fishing, traveling and adventure. He loved to go on cruises with April. His all-time favorite vacation was to Scotland. But, truly, he just loved spending time with people. People were special to Frank and he treated everyone that way. He is survived by his loving wife, children Katherine (Lucas) Ashley and Joel (Thea) Courtis and two grandchildren (Michael & Ava). He was the seventh of nine children born to Peggy (Lida) & Hugh McMillan. Siblings: Lois (Arnie) Maldonado, Cecilia Carr, Terri, Chuck (Lynn), John (Janet), Lin (Walt) Torres, Dan (Theresa), and Lorie (Jeff) Morris. In-laws: Marie Anderson, Maria Marino and Domenic Marino. He was beloved uncle to 24 nieces and nephews. Frank will be missed forever by his extended family and friends. Service will be performed at Memory Garden in Brea at a later date.
